# Can AI Agents Sign Up and Use Your Database?

We tested 18 hosted database providers with 20 AI agent configurations over 1,035 sessions to see which are ready to win the agent market. We measured which databases agents could use, analyzed where they failed, and identified best practices to fix the blockers.

A configuration is a model run in a harness (the agent program around it): the same model in two harnesses is two configurations.

Databases: 1,035 sessions, 18 products, 20 agent configurations, November 2, 2026 to November 6, 2026, November 6, 2026.

## Details

### Prisma Postgres (Serverless Postgres)

**What worked for agents.** 53 of 58 sessions succeeded. 25% of these successes skipped the sign-up: the product hands out a working database before any account, and the agent took it. They count, flagged.
